With no one to claim any of the corpses of the thieves who died in a blaze while trying to steal fuel at a Matola granary,the target could be no other.

The deadline set by the Ministry of Health had already been exceeded.

The five bodies unclaimed victims of the fire in the Matola Grain Terminal were buried in a Mass Grave in Lhanguene cemetery in Maputo. The Health Directorate of Maputo said that the bodies were almost a month in the morgue of the Maputo Central Hospital, and they could not be kept longer, have as their destination the Lhanguene cemetery.

"The standard is that the bodies remain a minimum of 15 days in the mortuary, pending by the complaint. These bodies entered on December 15 and on January 11 were referred to the mass grave. They were 28 days in the morgue, "said the chief doctor of the city of Maputo, Laison Daniel.

 “You can doubt that there can be a New Year, but you cannot doubt that there will be a storybon the President’s alleged death every January,” he said. “This is the way the website seeks to improve its hits in order to get dirty money from Google.

 There is a financial incentive to the grim lie. “Government is exploring
mechanisms for dealing with such extra territorial mischief.
These websites ride on carriers,don’t they?” Some people picked the hoax
that first appeared on the ZimEye website and started circulating it on social media. The ZimEye website that is known for fabricating stories,published the story under the pretext of a letter to the editor by one of their readers. Online media reports yesterday claimed that a South African radio station also picked up thebfalse story and ran it before retracting it and apologising.

Man stumbles upon golden bullion hidden in a cave

Pedro Manhike,36,of Chissua village in Tete province,Mozambique is living the life of his dreams after reportedly stumbling upon gold bullion stashed away in a cave in the mountains of Chissua village,in the Chitima district.

The local police were suscipicious when the poor villager suddenly started showing signs of living large,so they decided to investigate.

Sources from Pedro's village told the police that Pedro had stumbled upon gold bars stashed away in a ''sacred'' cave.

Of course upon invading the home of Pedro,the police did not find any gold hidden there and therefore could do nothing against the now rich man.(Pedro supposedly bought a lot of household property,opened a big grocery shop and bought several brand new vehicles)

On his part the villager explained that he had gotten his wealth from working the land.''My wealth is a result of honest,hard work cultivating the land'',he told the police.

It is not clear who hid such huge amounts of pure gold in the mountains.

It is highly likely that the gold was hid there during the time when the Portuguese were given an altmatum by Samora Machel,the no nonsense first presdent of independent Mozambique,to leave Mozambique within 24hours carrying only their personal belongings.

body of an albino in the Mariana Cemetery,located in Micajune ,outside Quelimane city

The fact shocked people living
nearby and others who visited that location.Evildoers vandalized the grave,opened and removed the body from the coffin and left the corpse on the ground uncovered-and bare.


The brother of the ill- fated, confirmed that his sister had skin pigmentation problems.

He explained that his sister died recently,that is,late last month, which means that the family is still grieving.

"We heard only talk about the
situation that albinos are facing in other provinces.Our fear was that it would spread to our province.

We can not accept to live in this
situation, so we are asking that
justice is done, "said a woman
at the site.

The police were called and conducted expert work on site. Moments later,came the medical team to determine if there has been
extraction of body organs.

The medical team did not detect any abnormality in the body of the ill-fated.

AN UNUSSUAL WAY TO BURY THE DEAD.
There is a place called Cabvurancie in the Tete province of Mozambique.

There,in 2012,I witnessed the strange burial of a woman who had died.They did not dig a grave for her,but all the same they''buried''her.You may wonder how.

It was,and still is,the most strangest of burials I have ever witnessed here and you may not have heard of any other burial like it that takes place in this modern time of ours.A small simple open shed made out of indigenous wooden poles and sticks.

On a makeshift wooden table in the shed was laid her simple coffin of reeds.Thus she was laid to rest in a dark,frigheningly quiet forest of prime,gigantic trees.I heard those present saying that ''the hyenas would come for her''.

'Do not turn back to look,just move on ahead!'',we were warned.I tried to restrain myself,but my great curiousity soon won over,and I turned to look.There was no ghost,no strange sight to see behind me except the dark,thick forbiding forest.

Later at the village,I asked why they had buried her in such a way.They told me that she had been very old and the siege of a strange illness had wasted her completely.Besides,she had been possesed,during all her days on earth,by the spirit of ''mphondoro'',the spirit of the lion.It seemed she had been a very imporntant person in her society.Their culture and tradition said such people had to be laid to rest that''special way''.

Three individuals caught in possession of human bones

Police in Massinga district stopped, last night, three individuals found in possession of human bones - allegedly of an albino person - which they wanted to sell in Cabo Delgado.

If true, it is the case to say that the hunting of people with albinism continues, and this time the playing field was the province of Inhambane, this time with a different "modus operandi".

According to police sources, the three individuals are engaged in the mining activity in the province of Cabo Delgado. They went to the Massinga district, where they exhumed the body of an albino man and took the bones, with the aim of selling them.

The Individuals had been informed of the existence of a grave where the remains of an albino lay,and the information was provided by a family of criminals, in the Malova region, Massinga.

Mother butchers own baby

Mother killed her newborn son using knife blows to the genitals of the child. The event took place this weekend in the neighborhood of Namuteliua, outskirts of the city of Nampula, next to the field of Makonde. According TVM,she first simulated a rape having gone to the police station where she made the complaint. After investigation, the abduction version was discarded because the young teenager confessed to being the author of the crime,using a kitchen knife to end the life of her son of two months to make forceful blows to the genitals of the baby. The young Father requires that jstice is done.The police found the body of the baby in a dump, next to the field called Makonde, Namutequeliua neighborhood, in the city of Nampula.The case is being treated as voluntary manslaughter. The indicted 16- year-old is a student at the secondary school of Nampaco, where she attends the tenth grade.

Adolescente commits suicide while parents are in South Africa

Suicides are on the rise in Inhambane this week.For example, there were two suicides in Funhalouro district, whose victims are a pregnant woman and a teenager of fourteen. According to Radio Mozambique,the teenager who attended eighth grade in high school Graça Machel of Funhalouro, lived alone, his parents are in South Africa.It is assumed that the lack of food and school attendance, would have taken the minor to take his own life.By the way to ensure his survival, the deceased was obliged to perform certain activities in exchange for money.The police district commander in Funhalouro, Pedro Matuso Massingue lamented,calling the population to not resort to suicide in the event of any disruption in life. Statistics indicate that only this year,in Funhalouro district, about ten people were took their own lives by hanging.
