Fact about Mozambique:Samora Machel,the first Presdent of Independent Mozambique,may be the most famous Mozambican.The day of his death is still comemorated in Mozambique.He is seen as an incorruptable,no nonsese man who was strick with all his affairs .People always refer to him when talking about corruption,"IF THEY WERE THE DAYS OF SAMORA or IN THE DAYS OF SAMORA,THIS COULD NOT HAPPEN"Machel is still a hero as when he was alive.The audios of his various speeches against corruption are played over and over again by the many young people who admire him.If you respect Machel in Mozambique;you indeed are a welcome guest.Machel led the country from independence in 1975 until his death in 1986, when his presidential aircraft crashed in mountainous terrain where the borders of Mozambique, Swaziland and South Africa converge.
