THE Renamo leader announced
last Friday, in Quelimane, the
suspension of political
dialogue of over two and a
half years that has been running at
the Joaquim Chissano Conference Centre between
the delegation of his party and
the government. Afonso
Dhlakama made the
announcement during a
popular rally that took place in Quelimane, having justified the
decision with the fact that "the
government does not want the
Renamo part of governmental
life of the country." At the
same time, Dhlakama has announced that his party is
now all set to start its
governance in the six provinces
where claims victory in the last
general elections.
