Nampula continues with high
rates of malnutrition, despite
the province registering annual
high levels of agricultural
production. The Technical
Secretariat for Food Security (SETSAN) wants to reverse the
situation through training of
all stakeholders in the food
chain to changing eating
habits. "Right now, we are
working with members of the Provincial Assembly, for their
role in monitoring and
evaluating the implementation
of the Government's Five-Year
Plan and Strategic Plan of the
province," said Edgar Cossa, SETSAN.
