Corruption hinders creation of innovative companies in the country

Corruption and lack of transparency in
business are the main constraints to the creation of innovative companies in Mozambique.The conclusion of a study presented yesterday in Maputo. The survey was conducted by Forbes Insights in four African countries,
including Mozambique, Angola, Ghana
and Nigeria. Presenting the results,
Victor Nhatitima, manager Djembe
Communications Mozambique,
explained that were interviewed a thousand people in the country, with
half pointed to the corruption, excessive bureaucracy and poor access to credit as the main barriers for entrepreneurs. For the next five years, respondents believe that entrepreneurship will be responsible for creating 39% of youth employment in the country and public
institutions will create more than half of those work stations. About 40% of
respondents considers that investment
in natural resources can be a key driver of entrepreneurship. Participated in the launch of the research on job creation in sub-Saharan Africa public institutions,academics and businessmen.
