Filipe Nyussi stands up for teachers.

During the 37th session of the Council of Ministers which took place on Tuesday in Maputo, President of the Republic, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi demanded the payment of back pay to teachers by the end of the year. Speaking at the meeting of the 37th session of the Council in which were addressed several issues that affect teachers, including the issue of back pay and non- payment of overtime, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, determined the payment of back wages of teachers by the end of the year. According to a spokesman for the Council of Ministers, Ana Comoane, the order is the result of the meeting held by the President with education professionals during the passage of the Teachers' Day, marked on 12 October current.
