Mozambique with three banks in the top 100 of the continent

Three Mozambican banks are in the list of the 100 largest banks in Africa by capital, according to the 2015 list compiled by "African Business" magazine. The other nine banks in African countries where Portuguese is the official language (PALOP) are Angolan.Incidentally, the first of 12 banks PALOP to appear in the list is the Economic Bank of Angola, former Banco Espírito Santo Angola, in 16th place, with a capital of 1583 million dollars, having gained 12 positions in the list released in 2014. In the 25th position (29th in 2014) appears the Angolan Investment Bank, with 980 million dollars.In the 29th position(32 in 2014) the Bank of Credit and Savings with 880 million,on 34 (42, in 2014),Banco de Fomento Angola with 707 million dollars and on the 37th (41st in 2014) is Banco BIC, with 686 million dollars. The first Mozambican bank to appear on the list - Millennium bim - is in 55th position (57th in 2014), with 422 million dollars, followed by Banco Privado Atlântic in the 57th place (77th in 2014) with 397 million and Banco Millennium Angola in 67th (74 in 2014) with 315 million.
