The rainy season occurs between October and April
Mozambican climate , influenced by Indian Ocean’s monsoons and the hot current of the Mozambican channel is mainly humid- tropical.
In the center and North it lasts about four to six months, whereas in the South, the dry tropical climate lasts between six and nine months.
In the mountainous regions, tropical conditions occur.
Average temperatures are 20 and 26 degrees Celsius in the South and the North respectively.
The Indian Ocean facing Mozambican coast, with its extensive beach area, is very rich in many marine species in its warm waters .
