Mozambican Flag
It has five colors: red, green, black, golden yellow and white. The colors represent:
Red – secular resistance to colonialism, the armed struggle for national liberation and the defense of sovereignty;
• Black – the African continent
• Green — the riches of the soil;
7• Golden yellow – the riches of the subsoil;
• White – the justice of the struggle of the Mozambican people and peace.
• From top to bottom they are horizontally arranged in green, black and golden yellow alternating with white bands.
On the left side, the red one occupies the triangle in the center of which is a star, with a book on which a crossed gun and hoe are superimposed.
• The star symbolizes the Mozambican people’s spirit of international solidarity.
