During the 37th session of the Council of Ministers which took place on Tuesday in Maputo, President of the Republic, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi demanded the payment of back pay to teachers by the end of the year. Speaking at the meeting of the 37th session of the Council in which were addressed several issues that affect teachers, including the issue of back pay and non- payment of overtime, Filipe Jacinto Nyusi, determined the payment of back wages of teachers by the end of the year. According to a spokesman for the Council of Ministers, Ana Comoane, the order is the result of the meeting held by the President with education professionals during the passage of the Teachers' Day, marked on 12 October current. 8 Renamo guerillas abandon their party.
Eight former Renamo guerrillas in Manica and Sofala have abandoned the party and given themselves up to the Mozambican authorities.The former guerrillas, who say bear the rank of Major, captain, lieutenant and second lieutenant, appeal to old comrades still in the woods to follow their example and integrate themselves into (DEFENCE FORCES OF MOZAMBIQUE)FADM.They are in total eight former Renamo guerrillas who deserted the ranks of Afonso Dhlakama's party and deliverd themselves to the Mozambican authorities.The former Renamo members say they have been stationed on the orders of their leader in Ximpunga bases in Dombe,Manica province, Xindenga and Maringue in Sofala.The former Renamo guerrillas say they have made the decision to leave the ranks of this party for their are tired and also as a result of uncertainty about its future. According to the group's spokesman, there are many old friends who want to follow suit but who fear reprisals by Renamo. 17 year old teenager murderd for''doing away''with phone of police commandant
The Population of Mundzingadzi, one of the 33 districts of the city of Chimoio, in Manica province,are accusing Jose Weng San, Deputy Commander of Police of republic of Mozambique(PRM), for allegedly murdering a citizen,who is his neighbor and had been also his worker.Titos Chitexe,17,was murderd on the 10th of this month.The authorities of Weng San,and his workers,said he died by hanging himself after doing away with two mobile phones belonging to the Deputy Commander of PRM.According to Tito's father,Sammussone Chitexe,his son died in the house of that dirigent,his son was working in the commandant's house in Maputo.He believes his firstborn was muderd by beating due to injuries that were present on his body.Deceased father's neighbors on realizing that he had received the body of the deceased, who had several hits, including loss of teeth, on Wednesday, were outraged and decided to show solidarity with the Chitexe family,began a demonstration at the residence of the vice police commissioner in the in the city of Chimoio. According to the deceased's father as soon as his child's body reached the city of Chimoio, the PRM, did not want the family, who were already suspicious,to approach and open the coffin. After much fight with the agents of law and order,the Chitexe family finally managed to see the evil deed and found out that Titos had no teeth,had burns, damaged nose and his right eye was also badly butchered.He had,without doubt,been slaughtered like an animal by the very hands of citizens who must always be good examples on withholding the rule of law and order.
Zimbabwe:Father hires hitman to kill son.
Adiel Matiyo, 64, of Madziva village under chief Chikwanda, had a long standing misunderstanding with his son, Joseph Chipinda, 47, of the same area over counter claims of witchcraft. Matiyo accused his son of possessing goblins that were sucking his sisters’ breasts at night while Joseph accused his father of possessing magical powers that enabled him to have sex with his son’s wife without her knowledge (umbobobo). The father and son were once summoned by a village head in an effort to reconcile their differences to no avail. Justice Joseph Musakwa, on High Court circuit in Masvingo and sitting with assessors Samuel Mutomba and Elfas Gweru, yesterday heard how in April 2014, Matiyo approached Linos Paunganwa and gave him two iron bars and $20 as payment for his son’s murder. Matiyo allegedly offered to give Paunganwa $80 in total, with the $60 balance and a beast being paid once the would-be assassin executed his assigned mission. Matiyo pleaded not guilty to a charge of incitement to commit murder and was remanded in custody to tomorrow for continuation of trial. For the state, Elson Chavarika told the court that on April 17 last year, Matiyo approached Paunganwa and contracted him to kill his son, Joseph. “At around 2PM, Matiyo approached Paunganwa while he was coming from a beer drink at Mahoyo homestead in the same village and told him that he had an assignment which he wanted the latter to execute. He asked Paunganwa to kill Joseph, his first born son, for causing discord in his entire family,” said Chavarika. He said Paunganwa advised Matiyo to come to his homestead the following day saying he could not discuss any meaningful subject as he was drunk. The following day Matiyo went to Paunganwa’s homestead, some seven kilometres away, to discuss the same matter. Matiyo found Paunganwa home and repeated what he had said the previous night, the court heard. “Paunganwa agreed and the two went to Matiyo’s house where the two iron bars measuring 91,5 cm and 32 cm long respectively were collected. “Matiyo accompanied Paunganwa back to his homestead and along the way, he handed the two iron bars to Paunganwa for use in the execution of the task before giving him $20. The money was part payment for his services,” Chavarika said. Paunganwa was promised the balance and a beast after the execution of the task. Instead of killing Joseph, Paunganwa proceeded to a neighbourhood watch committee member, Mathias Musingarimwi, and reported the matter. He also surrendered the iron bars and $20 to Musingarimwi. After being handed the weapons and money, Musingarimwi went to Matiyo’s homestead in the company of Paunganwa where the latter pretended as if he wanted his balance first, before executing the task at hand. Meanwhile, Musingarimwi was hiding and emerged when Matiyo came out of the house to meet Paunganwa. He promptly arrested him and handed him to the police at Farmers Hall Base.THE CHRONICLE,Zimbabwe.
Mother butchers own baby
Mother killed her newborn son using knife blows to the genitals of the child. The event took place this weekend in the neighborhood of Namuteliua, outskirts of the city of Nampula, next to the field of Makonde. According TVM,she first simulated a rape having gone to the police station where she made the complaint. After investigation, the abduction version was discarded because the young teenager confessed to being the author of the crime,using a kitchen knife to end the life of her son of two months to make forceful blows to the genitals of the baby. The young Father requires that jstice is done.The police found the body of the baby in a dump, next to the field called Makonde, Namutequeliua neighborhood, in the city of Nampula.The case is being treated as voluntary manslaughter. The indicted 16- year-old is a student at the secondary school of Nampaco, where she attends the tenth grade.
