Trade between China and the
Community of Portuguese
Speaking Countries (CPLP) fell
24.20% year on year to 58,687 million dollars from January to
July 2015, according to Chinese
official figures published in
Macau. In the first seven
months of the year, China
imported the eight Portuguese-speaking countries
goods worth 35,893 million
(-32.01%) and goods sold for
the amount of 22,794 million
dollars (-7.44% ), assuming a
trade deficit of 13,099 million dollars. With Brazil, its main
trading partner globally, China
registered a bilateral trade of
42 185 million (-18.35%) -
about 72% of the total with
the Portuguese-speaking countries - with imports worth
24 663 million dollars
(-23.61%) and exports
