Dozens of residents living in Xota neighborhood,Beira rioted yesterday morning opposite the Beira Municipal Council building in protest against the alleged usurpation of their land.Drumming and screaming the residents of the neighborhood of Chota wanted explanations from the Municipality on the urbanization project that is underway in that neighborhood.
It appears that there is bad communication or else the citizens did not understand the objectives of the local authority because they think that their spaces were allegedly sold to Ugandan citizens who were willing to finance a project to build two thousand social housing facillities.
"They say they want to build many homes and who want to live in that house will have to pay a rent for 25 years.
