Joaquim Chissano highlights role of Sweden in development of Mozambique

Former president,Joaquim Chissano acknowleged onThursday,the contribution 

 of the Kingdom of Sweden in Mozambique's development programs before and after independence.

Chissano,who was speaking at a seminar organized jointly by the Eduardo Mondlane Universirty and Sweden embassy in Mozambique,to mark the 40th anniversary of bilateral relations,said that Sweden always dreamed of a better world for Mozambique,but at the same time,he thought that better world would not come by chance.

"It was necessary that this be created through cooperation,based on values ​​of democracy, humanitarianism,values ​​that manifest in respect for people and trust",said the elder stateman,quoted by AIM.
