Italian oil company Eni wants to expand hydrocarbon research area

The Italian oil company Eni wants to expand its research area in the area of ​​hydrocarbons, in the country, and guarantees participation in the sixth tender launched at the end of last year by the National Petroleum Institute.

According to the general director of Eni Rovuma Basin, Giorgio Vicini, quoted by the newspaper Notícias, a technical evaluation is underway within the company to define the areas for which it should compete.

Launched in November last year, the sixth tender for prospecting and researching hydrocarbons in Mozambique had, according to data from the National Petroleum Institute, 13 competing companies, of which 12 were pre-qualified. ( RM)
