According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Mozambique is not on the list of nations where food insecurity and hunger are on the rise.

According to the FAO representative in Mozambique, the country has made strides in agricultural production and productivity when compared to other African nations, despite the destabilization in the country's north and the effects of climate change.

This past Saturday, Hernani da Silva gave a speech in Nampula's Mogovolas neighborhood in honor of the World Food Day. (RM)
