Mozambique -Rwanda : Visas abolished
Regular passport holders no longer need a visa to enter Mozambique or Rwanda.
For regular passport holders, Mozambique and Rwanda do not require a travel visa.
In order to facilitate this, the two governments on Friday in Kigali inked a deal to abolish visas.
Both Rwanda's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Vincent Biruta, and Mozambican Interior Minister Arsénia Massingue signed the document.
According to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior, under the terms of this agreement, nationals of both nations are permitted to enter and remain in either Mozambique or Rwanda for up to 90 days without a visa.
The visa waiver deal should go into effect later this year, according to the interior minister of Mozambique. (RM)
