Renovation of Nacala Port to finish in December

The renovation of the Port of Nacala in Nampula province is anticipated to be finished by the end of the year, according to the government.

After touring the infrastructure on Monday with two other ministers from the Republic of Malawi, the Minister of Transport and Communications announced that the work was going according to plan. "Everything points to the work being finished by December, so we are pleased. As you can see, we have excellent infrastructure in place, excellent machinery that will significantly boost output, and we can unquestionably handle greater load, for Mozambique and for nations like Malawi, etc.," he stated.
