"There are sufficient medicines to treat ailments throughout the rainy season." - Health Minister

The country has enough medications to treat illnesses during the current wet season, according to Minister of Health Armindo Tiago.

This past Wednesday, Armindo Tiago spoke in Tete and stressed the importance of initiating preventive measures  of waterborne illnesses.

"We are adequately stocked and prepared for the upcoming months, with a focus on waterborne infections that are on the rise during this wet season. Our plea is to ensure that the appropriate precautions are taken to save individuals from becoming ill, not to wait until they are ill before providing them with treatment, the man stated (RM)
