Ukraine and Mozambique to Strengthen ties

Mozambique and Ukraine are interested in forging a league of friendship and deepening their mutually beneficial cooperation, particularly in the parliamentary and economic spheres.

In Maputo on Friday, Esperança Bias, the president of the assembly of the republic, met with a delegation from Ukraine led by the vice president of that nation's parliament.

Hélder Ndjonjo, the Assembly of the Republic's first vice president, declared that the friendship league he plans to establish will strengthen ties between the two nations' populations.

Even today, the ambassador of Norway and the high commissioner of Mauritius to Mozambique were given audiences by the president of the Assembly of the Republic. (RM)
