Tete Province Registers 133,334 New First-Grade Students for 2025

The province of Tete has enrolled 133,334 new first-grade students for the 2025 academic year. This number represents 84.4% of the planned target, which was to enroll 159,000 students.

According to the provincial director of education, out of the enrolled children, 66,794 are female.

Pedro Sapange emphasized that the enrollment process will continue in all schools that have not yet met their targets.
