Conference of the Heads of the Supreme Courts of Southern Africa underway in Maputo

Today and tomorrow in the city of Maputo, the heads of the Supreme Courts of Justice of Southern Africa convene for an annual conference.

The conference, which has "Accountability and the Role of the Judiciary in the Fight against Terrorism" as its theme, will cover issues like the adoption of an electronic process management system, the funding of terrorism and related crimes, and the idea of judicial independence and accountability.
