More than 100,000 people in Manica could be affected by floods and inudations this rainy season

During the current rainy season, flooding and/or inundations could threaten more than 100,000 people living in areas that are traversed by the Zambezi, Bzi, and Save basins in the province of Manica.

The National Institute for Disaster Risk Management's representative in Manica, Borges Viagem, declared that logistics have been prepared owing to the availability of boats and tents for temporary shelter and relief.
